Readers of this blog will know that we go on about a 20 mph speed limit on all roads in this village and about the enlightened countries and counties who have implemented such. Well moves are a foot on the limit for Suffolk. There has been an item appearing on Parish Councils’ agendas recently suggesting that there is a campaign for the introduction of the limit in all villages. I have not seen the minutes of the meetings of each council that has discussed the campaign but I will keep an eye out. I just hope the votes were in favour of supporting the initiative.
I will also speak to my friend who is a Chairman of a local, not on the Peninsula, PC who had an agenda items on one of their recent meetings. Unfortunately I will not see him for a couple of weeks.
