As if by magic the warm weather arrived on Thursday in time for the Easter Holiday. Still a bit of a cool easterly breeze and I think this will remain for the whole of the Easter break although not as strong as today.
Managed to spook a herd of deer who took flight around the pub field and settled up on the next field before chasing off across the fields. A few butterfly about but not as many as I expected.
We had a visit from a couple of partidges in the week but they did not hang around for long probably because of complete lack of pear trees.
