A Few More Centimetres of Sea

Regular readers of this blog would have seen the post ‘A Few More Feet of Sea’. It outlined the impact on this area if the sea continues to rise at its expected rate.

The East Anglian Daily Times have published a similar article, ‘Could Suffolk’s coast be at greater risk of flooding in 30 years?’ The article was published on on 15 November. It states that Climate Central in New Jersey (USA) has stated that sea levels will rise by 10 cm every decade until 2050. The EADT has published maps which show areas which will be below the predicted annual flood level which will occur twice a year. Shottisham, or at least the west side, appears on the map. Interesting article which should be read.
